In 1982 the Springdale Neighborhood Association published The Neighborhood of Springdale, bringing to life the families who created the area’s two largest nineteenth-century estates, Brockie and Springdale. Thirty years later it was updated for a second printing. The cover logo, the oak-leaf mark you see on this site, was designed by G. Rohier; the text illustrations are by Ottmar Carli.
The booklet is still provided at no cost in the welcome packet for every new neighbor.
